Worked.
Good for sea kayaking and whitewater. Put it inside my pfd but hooked on and worked fine. Recommend.

iPhone barely fits
My only real complaint about this case is that even though the photo shows an iPhone in it, it's a very tight fit for one. Also the plastic material tends to stick to the phone making it even harder to get it in and out, and the transparent window is slightly smaller than the iPhone screen. On the plus side, the touch screen and the camera work fine through the plastic. For any smaller phone or GPS it would be a great case.

Great case for smartphones!
I use this case to store a smartphone while paddling. The phone and dry-case are typically stored in a hatch, and likely inside another large drybag - more for shock and impact protection than for waterproofing.
I find the case protects the phone adequately and allows full use of the touchscreen and camera lens ports.

Lifesaver!
I use this drybag every day to protect my iphone while working on the open water in small boats. I (and my gear) am splashed with water almost constantly, and I have had NO water damage to my phone at all, even with the phone hanging off my belt. I like that you can use the touch screen through the clear case... gets a little greasy over time with salt water, but it's totally worth it.

will an iPhone 4s in an otter box defender case fit? it runs 6.5 inches in circumference and just under 5 in length.
The case will hold items 6" in circumference, so sounds like your Otter case is too big.
