I ordered two of the assorted. Received two white chums. Not what I expected when I ordered assorted colors.

Wouldn't use anything else!
It keeps my glasses on my head and they never go farther than my neck.

I have been known to be a bit clumsy when I have a lot going on (rushing to get on the water/ packing out). I have fallen backwards off coolers into the frigid water, hit my head, and even dropped various items only to watch them float away. I got these as a preventative measure. I pay a lot for perscription sunglasses and would like to keep them. I purchased a cheapy band at a local outfitter and I believe it fell off and was gone within a span of 2 hours. Spend a couple more bucks and get this. Chums is a great brand. If you haven't already, take a look at their wallets. They are awesome for travel and in the backwoods.

Chums have been around for ages and have always worked really well. Note the most stylish eye or sun glass retainers, but definitely dependable and cheap insurance for you glasses!

Came off with my first roll. Have had other sunglass retainers that worked far better than these and held fast to sunglasses through many, many rolls. If you intend to use these in white water, find something else,

Worth the investment for quality glasses
I used this to keep my sun glasses on while guiding white water rafts down the Arkansas River, Browns Canyon section, in Colorado last month. I typically wear Oakley's because I like the quality and my eyes are sensitive to light so I wanted to be sure I wouldn't loose my glasses. Even with getting tossed around a few times on our high water runs in the raft my glasses were firmly attached to my face. I didn't end up swimming at all so I can not testify on how they perform in the water but I do feel they would have had a good chance to do the task.

Chums continue to be the standard in retaining your optics. Adjustable and comfortable.

The free shipping is why. Croakies charges the price of the item itself to ship something that fits in a light envelope.
I love chums and I always keep extra because they are so helpful
To keep our glasses in a flip/swim
Need them
