Just Add Water
The Just Add Water Project is an action-backed commitment to breaking down barriers to the outdoors. Through Just Add Water we're supporting activists and organizations in building an inclusive paddlesports community of the future, creating new advocates for conservation, and protecting the health of, and access to, our shared lands and waters.
LEAD Ambassadors
LEAD stands for Leaders in Environment, Access and Diversity. Through the LEAD program, we're redirecting a portion of NRS resources to support the work of community builders and activists in outdoor participation and conservation.

About NRS
In 1972, with only $2,000 in his personal savings, Bill Parks started Northwest River Supplies with one mission: to help others raft. 42 years later, Bill sold NRS to its employees. Today, the 100% employee-owned business strives to continue Bill's legacy helping people pursue passions on the water.
Remembering Bill Parks
NRS Founder Bill Parks was a businessman, river runner, and educator—but he was foremost a humanitarian. He leaves behind a 50-year legacy of serving customers and community, people and the planet, steadfast in his belief that business could be a force for good in the world.
