NRS 3mm Grizzly Wetsuit

I could have given this a 5, but held back because of three aspects related to fit. The shoulder straps are a bit short, the hips have a bit too much slack for my preferences even with fleece pants under it, yet the chest is a bit snug. I'm 5' 10", weigh 205 lbs., and purchased a size large. Yet leg length was perfect. I have a 30" inseam, wear a size 44 coat, and have a 36" waist. So, not quite, but almost 5 stars. I really didn't expect a perfect fit. Excellent product.

I’m a big guy - just under 6 foot, 250 pounds, muscular legs, and a bit of a belly. I’ve got suits from big and tall but they take a ton of tugging and pulling until I can FINALLY get them over my calves, thighs, forearms and biceps (and they definitely require help on the back zippers). This “Grizzly” fit (I got the G-XXL) is still “snug” on my calves and thighs, but not “cutting off my circulation” tight. Also, ,the FRONT zipper on this suit is one I can put on myself easily. I did buy the extenders for the shoulders but did not need them.

Perfect fit. 5’11” 235 lbs. Size G2XL. Very comfortable sitting in the kayak. Buoyant enough to keep my head above water even without life vest (although I always wear my PFD). Zipper seems burly. I ordered the strap extensions but do not need them (yet).

The NRS Grizzly wetsuit is great for my body type. I was using a standard large NRS wetsuit Farmer John model before. Seeing that I had a sizable beer belly, I could barely get into it the last time I used it.
According to the Grizzly size chart I went with the medium initially, but had to return it due to it fitting too snug. They exchanged it for the large Grizzly, and I couldn't be happier! Fits perfectly!
Customer service was awesome, super friendly and they had great communication.
I felt the wetsuit size was cut slightly small. My body measurements fell towards the middle to higher end of sizing chart. That said...you might want to go up a size when ordering, but your mileage may vary.
Returns are super easy also, put it back in original box and attach your pre-paid shipping label.
If you have a beer-belly like me...go with the NRS Grizzly wetsuit, you wont be disappointed!

I've taken this wetsuit out twice on a Hobie pedal kayak. The cut is generous and I actually feel comfortable in a wetsuit, which is a big plus. I mark it down because of the shoulder straps. A minor nit pick is they have a silly hard button, but my big issue is that the soft part of the velcro is facing out, with the scratchy hooks facing in. I'd still recommend this but would definitely recommend NRS make sure that velcro patches facing the body are always the soft loops.

Bought as a 2 piece system. I’m 51 and 390. Yup big guy. Sadly the gut was too big , but otherwise it’s a great design. Well made , nice strong zipper. Adjustable shoulder straps. I gotta drop like 30-40# and it would fit perfectly.

Only my second one in thirty years and I'm still using the original one to.
