Product Details
With an easy-wearing neoprene neck seal and proven Eclipse™ 4-layer fabric, the NRS Explorer Paddling Suit's streamlined design gives you everything you need and nothing you don't for comfortable all-day paddling adventures.
- As an alternative to conventional dry suits, the Explorer Paddling Suit features a GlideSkin™ neoprene volcano-style neck gasket in place of latex, which still keeps most water out and is more comfortable for long days and extended tours.
- Latex wrist gaskets keep your sleeves completely dry while paddling and rolling.
- Stretchy polyurethane overcuffs protect the latex wrist gaskets.
- 4-layer Eclipse fabric, with its proprietary waterproof-breathable barrier and Nanosphere® DWR finish, locks water out while letting moisture escape.
- The supple polyester microfiber shell allows friction-free paddling with superior resistance to puncture and abrasion.
- Heavy-duty, flexible TIZIP® MasterSeal entry and relief zippers provide a dependable dry seal.
- We've moved the entry zipper to the back, across the shoulders. This eliminates pressure points on the front of the suit, while improving flexibility and reducing stress on the zipper.
- The back-zipper entry makes putting the suit on easy. Just step inside, put your arms through the sleeves, and pull the neck gasket over your head. The zipper can be opened and closed without assistance.
- Eclipse fabric drysocks give you waterproof-breathable comfort and slide easily into wetshoes.
- Wide seam taping throughout the suit adds extra durability.
- Buckle-closure waist belt provides a secure fit.
- Single-seam legs eliminate wear points.
- An additional layer of Eclipse material on the seat and legs protects these high-wear areas.
- Reflective tape on the arms increases visibility in low-light situations.

Great design except for the neck
I liked everything about this suit except for the neck design. The latex gasket is tight, and I realize that this can loosen up over time, or I can trim it. However, the neoprene sleeve that goes over the latex to protect it is also set tight, with no possibility for adjustment. It pretty much choked me the entire day I used it. I was calling commands like Mickey mouse. Will have to take a look at loosening the gasket or I'm going to pitch this one.

Easy on & off!
My shoulders are not what they used to be. I REALLY like the zipper across the shoulders! It is so much easier to operate than the diagonal zipper on the overskirt of the Crux drysuit. Always great quality.

Comfortable and Durable
This dry suit is tough, comfortable, and nice and breathable for cold weather SUP adventures. The neoprene neck gasket is so much more comfortable than a silicone gasket, and you'd need to go through a serious washing machine hold down to get any water in.

excellent all-around paddling suit
This was my first drysuit purchase and I was nervous about such a big expenditure, but one day on the river and all doubt washed away. Comfy fit (neoprene neck gasket, not Boston Strangler latex), roomy interior, handy front fly, integrated waistbelt... the list of virtues goes on. I hiked, I paddled, I swam (not always on purpose)... and never got wet, from river water or sweat. Yep, this puppy's worth every dollar.

talked with Mitch and this is what he recommended. Thanks
I basically missed this year's paddling season because of the COVID restrictions, so now I'm determined to paddle until the water freezes.
Lighter duty, non abrasive, well priced cold weather boating!
