I should have gone to nrs first!
A simple material, but I discovered not so simple to find. I should have tried nrs first! I would buy in it in white if available as my zodiac tubes are mainly that.

Not a good patch with an air valve in center
The material is laminated with a synthetic mesh work making up the middle layer. If you use an air valve, the air will track from the inner hole where the air valve is screwed in , travel through the mesh work, and exit at the outer edge of patch. This will show up as microscopic bubbles emerging from the edges if the patch .
So for valve use , use a different material . One that is solid without a mesh work .

works
Used to patch small hole on a Sevylor and bonded well. Only bummer is that it does not come with other color so now I have a gray patch on bottom of a black boat.
