Thinner than I thought it would be
The product was thinner than I anticipated but definitely helped with cushioning on a 3hr. kayak outing. also it was one of the few products that I found that fit an enclosed kayak. would recommend.

Just What I Needed
This is the third brand of seat cushioning I've tried, and for me it's the best of the lot. The others I tried (they are well known brands) were OK, but this cushion worked out the best. I wasn't sure about the sticky bottom coating, but know I see it as one of the significantly positive features, as it stays in place no matter how shifting around I do during an extended paddle. I paddle a touring kayak with a lightly padded seat, and this added just the extra amount of comfort I needed for multi-hour paddling trips.

This seat has eliminated my hip pain.
After installing an air seat which was recommended for my wooden pygmy kayak, I was having some hip pain. The cockpit is very small and not much room for movement. Once I installed my NRS soft seat, the pain has been eliminated. I think the contour did the trick. I must have been getting some nerve pinching and the seat has been wonderful on longer paddles. Thank you for such a great difference in comfort.

Great Addition
Product provides good additional padding, especially for long trips. Did a 26 mile bike ride on Saturday and a 12 mile kayaking trip on Sunday with no discomfort. I don't like the stick on option for the pad. I have been laying it in the existing seat pad as I like the option to let both dry at the end of a long trip. A velcro type option would be great for those with existing pads already integrated with the seat. My factory seat is great for a couple of hours, this seat makes it great for at least 6; probably more.

Its just okay
I did put this in my kayak, because it is less expensive than a new seat, however, it is very hard. It would be nice if it were a bit softer.
