This is the oar lock you've been waiting for. The cobra's wide horns have greater load area for much less stress on the oar-lock horns and increased durability. The elongated, oval opening allows for an additional 10-15 degrees of vertical range while keeping your oars snug in the locks. Made of a specially formulated bronze alloy for superior strength and proven by professionals throughout the world. Deluxe models are threaded with a lock-nut keeper to reduce play. Oars with rope wraps or oar sleeves can sometimes fit snugly in oarlocks.

Sawyer Oar Lock review.
Just installed them on our Hyde 16.5x60 Drift boat. Have the 9.5’ Sawyer V-Lam Oars.

Cobras are great oarlocks
I've been using Cobra's on my various Sotar rafts for almost 20 years, and I love them. They are great!
I raft the Rogue River frequently, and I've never had an oar pop-out of an Cobra oarlock. In fact, they hold the oars in well. It also doesn't hurt that I live in the town where Sawyer oars and Cobra oarlocks are made, so I'm biased.

Perhaps you could sell them as a pair? It would seem more common that people would need 2 at a time and make it a special option to buy 1. Unless you enjoy rowing in circles.... Just a suggestion. great oar Locks though. Looking forward to having a complete set 😉
