Scotty Mounts
Scotty has been a leading name in fishing and outdoor products since 1952 when Blayney and Almeda Scott founded Scott Plastics, Ltd. A merchant mariner during World War II and avid fisherman frequently found trolling near his home in British Columbia, Blayney used his marine and commercial fishing experience to revolutionize fishing gear.
Today, Scotty is still family-owned and manufactures innovative, quality products that last in their Sidney, BC facility. By locally sourcing and recycling the materials they use and repairing products when possible, Scotty is working on changing The Way to Fish®, one product at a time.
