Star Kima 13
I took my new Star Kima 13 out for the first time on 6-9-21. We went down the North Fork of the Boise river, class 3&4 rapids. I have been cat boating for 36 years & have run & ownedMaravia,Aire,RMR,Jacks & NRS cats. I bought this boat only for day trips on our 3-5 rivers in Idaho. I wanted a lot of rocker and a shorter waterline for quick pivots, I was impressed with how the Kima 13 took holes and slid over rocks and was very stable with a narrow frame and it holds a line well. My only negative on this boat are the smaller D rings it uses, but I think they will hang on and if they don't I have a 5 year warranty. This boat is at least $1,000 less cost than any other cat in the 13 foot class. I think this is a quality boat for the price and you can't go wrong with it.
