Product Details

The Bravo BTP 12 High-Pressure Pump is the perfect solution for quickly inflating your stand up paddleboard. Hook it up to a 12 volt battery and it puts out up to 15 psi air pressure.
  • Inflate quickly with this powerful 12 volt pump.
  • It's easy to know exactly what pressure you have with the built-in 0-15 psi gauge.
  • 9-foot long battery cables and 6-foot air hose gives you good reach.
  • Eight valve adapters, including one specifically for Leafield C7 and D7 valves, links up to most common valves.
  • Pump, cables and hose fit in a handy zipper carry case, with shoulder strap.
Never operate Bravo with vehicle motor running - it will damage the pump due to a higher voltage output.

I have used this pump on many trips for my fishing SUP. Really like the auto pressure shut off.

Input connection
Could use a second 12v input for 12v jack in car or truck.

A must have for anyone with an inflatable SUP.
I often use a hand pump to do the first 5 psi on my paddle board and let this little lifesaver of a pump do the rest. For me, it’s worth every penny.

Great pump, you can set setting to desired psi and walk away and gather other gear. Have had for years, take to beach, mountain lakes and river s.

Work Like it should
This Pump works good and airs up my 18' Inmar Boat to the correct levels, which is difficult to do with the foot pump

Great high pressure pump
Great product for inflating high pressure items, hNds free. It's a bit slow for larger items like rafts.

Disappointing
Let’s get the positives out of the way:

-inflates quick.

Now onto the negatives:

-featureless, this pump doesn’t offer much compared to others on the market. No built in battery, no built in light, limited plug in options.
-poor quality, the auto shutoff worked fine the first two times I used it then stopped working entirely. I noticed this just in time, otherwise I would have risked permanently damaging my $4000 inflatable boat.
-plug in options are seriously lacking. Only comes with alligator clips for 12v source (car battery) so you’ll have to pop your car hood and attach directly to the battery. There is no option to plug in on the wall, no cigarette lighter adapter, just the clips and popping your hood each time you use it.
-more expensive than other options out there, that have similar (if not negligible) performance with richer feature sets.

Why did you choose this?

We needed one for our inflatable SUP. :-)

We have two NRS rafts and the original blowers broke

I want to be able to pump up my NRS Pike without a manual pump

Best pump available. Works well

I have a boardworks SHUBU SUP, inflates currently with a manual pump, but even with all my weight on the pump the most I can get is 11 psi. I would like something faster and easier, sounds like this will do the trick. The valves pictured don't look like the one that fits my board (mine has little latch type hooks with in the round connector so I stick it in, rotate it 90 degrees and that locks it into place with the release valve depressed to allow inflation). How do I determine if this will work to inflate that board?

Julie, looking at a You Tube video on the SHUBU, it appears to have a Halkey-Roberts New Short Valve. Look at this page - http://www.nrsweb.com/repair/hrvalves.asp - to make sure that's true on your board. If it is, also purchase the New Short Valve Adapter with the Bravo Pump and you can effortlessly pump up your board. Have fun!

What is the flow rate?

Capacity 450 Lt / per min
Piston flow rate : 160Lt /per min
Turbine flow rate: 450 Lt/ per min
Must have for iSUP.  Got to Love NRS too!

Do you sell just the Leafield C7 adapter that comes with this pump?

Here's the link to that adapter - https://www.nrs.com/leafield-c7-d7-valve-adapter/prdw

I just got this pump and can't figure out how to make it fit Halkey Roberts valves. The adapter that fits has to be held in the valve in order to fill the tubes, it doesn't seem like I should have to stand there holding the pump in place, any suggestions would be appreciated.

You'll want to purchase the Halkey-Roberts New Short Fill Adapter to lock this pump's hose into your valves: https://www.nrs.com/new-short-halkey-roberts-fill-adapter/ptvq. This pump comes with a few generic adapters and the Leafield C7 Valve Adapter for use with the valves on our NRS inflatables.

Does Bravo make any adapters to hook this to a 12v cigarette adapter or to a wall outlet? Trying to find a way to use it without a battery.

We're not aware of anything Bravo makes that will do this for you. The best suggestion we have for you is to take the Bravo to a hardware/electrical shop and purchase a converter for the pump that will plug into power source you want to use.

I used the pump for the first time for a small kayak sevylo colorado
Alltough the pressure has been set to 9 psi the pressure did not go above 3 psi after 10 minutes
How is this possible

It sounds like the pump may be defective. Please either call us, 800.635.5202, or email us - service@nrs.com - for more help in diagnosing the problem.

I purchased a bravo high pressure 12 v pump to blow up my Boardworks Shubu stand up Paddleboard. I need a halkey roberts valve adapter to be compatible with the pump. What size should I order?

Joe, if your board has a Halkey-Roberts valve, it has to be the New Short, Item # 38500.01. You'll want the New Short Fill Adapter, # 38501.01. It will fit on one of the hose ends that comes with the pump.

Do you have an adapter hose fitting for the RED paddle boards

Sorry, the Red folks don't identify what valve they use in their boards. Here are some pages for identifying the valves and adapters we carry. Hopefully one of them will work for you. Good Luck! - http://www.nrs.com/repair/valves.asp?tn=70

aloha.. the link on the page "free shipping for orders over $75", does that include hilo hawaii? i really would like to buy this pump from you, when it comes back into stock, but of course i live in paradise, and we have to pay the price for it, or not get an item. mahalo nui!

Shane, as long as an item can ship US Postal Service Priority Mail, you're good to go for the Free Shipping. The pump should be back in stock by the end of January. In this case you don't have to pay the Paradise Tax!

Does this hook up to an H3, H-R New Short valve? Does it come with this adapter?

No, Jack, it doesn't include that adapter. Also pick up Item # 38501.01.
